Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, there was no short supply of natural growing berries to pick from and eat in the backyard of any of the many suburban homes out in the sticks where I lived. There where boysenberries, raspberries, huckleberries and blackberries that grew around the forest in our backyard. I loved them all. It makes a lot of sense why I love my girlfriend’s new bottle of women's perfume knowing this. When I first smelled it, my thoughts were it was light on the nostrils with a very attractive sweet scent.
Before telling me what it was, she put my nose in her wrist and asked what I thought. I loved it like I said. Turns out, the women's perfume she has is based around blackberries. I loved plucking them off the bushes when I was small and now love smelling them on her. I love her new women's perfume so much because well, it smells good but also because it brings back great memories. The combination of the two have me wanting to stay as close as possible to her to take it all in.
