When I found this photo online today, I just had to broadcast it because it is such a contrast in two beautiful objects, one is the stunning beauty of the hardest gemstone on the planet and the other, the softest, most delicate beauty of a rose. I've been eyeing my digital camera lately and thinking that it's time to start taking photos of everyday items, something I used to do with my film camera but haven't with my digital. My husband is really good about indulging my love of diamond jewelry and might even enjoy helping me set up vignettes for photographing my diamond jewelry, too. In fact, the whole family might even join in and that would be a really fun way to spend an evening.
