perfume fragrancesWomen wear perfume fragrances for several different reasons. Some women wear perfume fragrances in order to be attractive to the opposite sex. Others wear it because they are proud while many wear it to boost their self-esteem. I have worn perfume fragrances for all of those reasons at various stages of my life. However there are sometimes other less obvious reasons why I wear perfume fragrances. For instance recently I have been wearing perfume fragrances with citrus fragrance notes like grapefruit, lemongrass, orange and bergamot. I have been wearing citrusy perfume fragrances for their uplifting effects. You see I am growing tired of snow and cold temperatures. Wearing perfume fragrances that smell like citrus is my way of trying to trick my psyche into thinking of spring and summer so the sight of so much snow outside the picture window in my living room will not make me feel quite so claustrophobic.  Perfume fragrances that contain citrusy fragrance notes actually do a great deal to help me feel more positive and improve my mood. Of course it helps that I also enjoy the aroma of citrusy fragrance notes.
