perfume fragrancesI never buy perfume fragrances from department stores because they generally charge too much for them and I know that I can find a better deal online. However if I happen to be in a department store I will spend some time smelling difference women’s perfume products to see which I like. I actually find smelling different perfume fragrances to be interesting on a couple of different levels.  I try to decide by what I smell whether a particular women’s perfume is going to suit me or not. I also try to guess what fragrance category the product belongs to. Sometimes I can even depict individual fragrance notes. I also find it fascinating that I warm to the smell of some perfume fragrances instantly while others leave me cold.  There are some perfume fragrances that I know would not suit me at all and my nose actually crinkles with dislike when I smell them. However these perfume fragrances obviously appeal to some consumers given the fact that they are popular and some of them have been around for years. I think perhaps our reaction to perfume fragrances is somewhat similar to our perception of the taste of various foods. For instance I hate sprouts and sauerkraut but my husband loves both.
