jewelry earringsI work from home so when I go out somewhere I like to dress up my outfit with a pair of jewelry earrings. In fact I own so many pairs of jewelry earrings I have actually lost count. I guess I like jewelry earrings so much because they make me feel feminine and pretty. This has something to do with memories from my childhood. I can remember being small, looking at women who were wearing jewelry earrings and feeling fascinated by the way they sparkled and glittered. It made me think that jewelry earrings were very glamorous and grown up and I couldn’t wait to be bigger so that I could wear them too.
Now I am an adult with pierced ears and I can wear jewelry earrings, so I do. I have a pair of jewelry earrings to match every outfit I own. My step-granddaughter Alisha loves to look through my collection of earrings and admire them. Her ears are pierced too but I will not permit her to wear dangle earrings until she is older. When she browses through my dangle jewelry earrings with that look of fascination I once had I know she cannot wait to be older so that she can wear them.
