Happy 10th Birthday With Diamond Jewelry |

I am so excited! This weekend is my daughters 10th birthday and I just received the 14K White Gold and Diamond Cross Earrings with 0.24 Carat Total Weight that I ordered for her from Teagan's Corner Store whose online store can be found by visiting www.teaganscornerstore.com and she's going to love them. My daughter had one request this year for her birthday, and that was diamond jewelry.
My husband was very reluctant about buying our 10-year old diamond jewelry for her birthday, because he feels she's too young, but I was able to sway him with a little sweet talk and he gave in and told me to order her whatever diamond jewelry I wanted, as long as it was in our agreed price range. He teases me all the time and tells me that she's just like me with her love of diamond jewelry and fashion clothing, and figures it won't be long before she's asking to wear make-up, which he said she will not be doing until she's at least 15.
I can't help but smile when I think about how upset my husband was when our daughter said she wanted diamond jewelry. I know it isn't because she wants diamond jewelry, but because the fact that she wants it means that she's growing up, and I think that scares him; after all, she is his baby girl. I thought the earrings were simple, but yet also something that she could wear as she gets older. With her being only 10, aside from diamond jewelry studs, I knew that it would be difficult to find something that wasn't too 'old' for her, and I thought that this diamond jewelry was perfect for any age.
We've both told our daughter that she's too young for diamond jewelry, so I really don't believe she expects to receive them this year for her birthday. I even think I mentioned to her that maybe we would give her some diamond jewelry when she turned 15, so she's probably thinking she's going to get a doll or a new game for her computer. It will be wonderful to see the expression on her face when she opens the jewelry and I know she's going to ask if the diamonds are real. I'm going to also have to give her strict instructions that they're only to be worn when we go somewhere and not just around the house to play in. They grow up so quickly. |
